Our glyXprep Sample Preparation Kit contains all required materials to facilitate effortless, straightforward and reproducible N‑glycan profiling (analysis of N‑glycans released from glycoproteins).

The glyXprep sample preparation workflow consists of three separate modules:

N‑Glycan Release: In‑solution deglycosylation of purified glycoproteins or whole glycoprotein mixtures by PNGase F
Glycan Labeling: Selective tagging of released glycans with fluorescent dye APTS
HILIC‑SPE Clean‑Up: Purification of labeled glycans by hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography based solid phase extraction

glyXprep is optimized for use with our high‑performance glyXboxCE glycoanalysis system, but is also compatible with various other separation-based N‑glycan analysis techniques, including:

  • Capillary Zone Electrophoresis (CZE)
  • Hydrophilic Interaction High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HILIC‑HPLC)
  • Hydrophilic Interaction Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (HILIC‑UPLC)

The clean-up step of the kit requires a vacuum manifold system, which must be procured separately.
For optimal results, we recommend using 5‑100 µg of pure glyco­proteins or 1‑6 µL of glyco­protein mixtures.
