Our glyXalign 4 (GA4) sample alignment standard consists of 14–24 glyXdye 4 fluorescent-labeled oligosaccharides, which are spiked into samples as an internal alignment standard.

GA4 has the unique quality to emit light at a distinct wavelength outside the emission spectrum of APTS. Accordingly, GA4 and APTS labeled samples can be detected simultaneously in two separate spectral traces.

GA4 is designed for the use with our high-performance glyXboxCE glycoanalysis platform to align migration times in multiplexed capillary gel electrophoresis with laser-induced fluorescence detection (xCGE-LIF).

Migration times generated like this are highly reproducible and enable reliable glycan structure identification via database matching.
